I lived in Brooklyn for a year back in '87 and Wing Wah was this *fantastic* Chinese counter-style restaurant. They had this Hot & Sour soup that was *outstanding* - lots of stuff in it (the usual stuff, tofu, pork, mushrooms, scallions, etc.). Nothing unusual about that, but the broth was out of this world! It was kinda sweet and very tangy. Their Egg Fu Yung was also wonderful - the gravy that they used was also sweet and tangy. I've been looking for a Chinese taste like this in Missouri and on trips to San Francisco, but have never found it. If it's still open, you must head down to bklyn and check it out. And if it is, please send some food to me on ice via Fedex :))) Nice webpage, btw!
