This place is basically a pub, but with excellent food. Specialties include Spanish dishes (e.g., arroz con pollo), German dishes (e.g., sausage w/ sauerkraut and home fries), and old-fashioned pub food (excellent fried oysters; hamburgers). About 6 kinds of beer on tap, and a very friendly crowd. Live music on occasions but unpredictable in terms of just when and just what (I've heard cello+flute, and also jazz guitar + bass there). Almost no entree costs more than $8.00, and it's hard to spend much more than $15.00 at one sitting.
