William Chen is currently a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Electrical Engineering at Columbia University. He received his MS degree in EECS from University of California, Berkeley in 1997 and a BEE degree in EE from Georgia Institute of Technology in 1993. He is interested in content-based image/video search and retrieval. In particular, he is interested in template-based retreival and visualization techniques for large collections of stock footage.
